The Oscars will begin today, April 25 at 5 pm. The 93rd Academy Awards will look somewhat different this year. After a two-month delay to the show, the academy also changed award eligibility, adjusting the films released until February 2021 in 2020. Films released directly on digital platforms such as HBO Max are also eligible for the Oscars. The Oscars are spread over two locations this year: Los Angeles Union Station and its general petting, the Dolby Theater. The Oscars will air in the US on ABC. To stream online, there are some options:
ABC is streaming a live broadcast of the Oscars on the website, but only in specific cities and only after you have signed in with the participating TV provider – usually a cable company, satellite provider or livestreaming service.
Another option is Locast, which streams for free to local broadcasters, including ABC, in some large US cities. And yes, you can always use an antenna to try to pick up an ABC station in your area (ABC optional).
