With the COVID-19 epidemic in our lives beginning in 2020, life has felt a lot lately like a disaster film. The arrival of 2021 has not fared better. With many people around the world trapped in quarantine for the better part of the last twelve months, it is surreal to think that this became real life.
Disaster films depicting the end of the world and catastrophic catastrophe have always been a favorite among film lovers. In the last few decades, some complete crackers have come, which have stood the test of time. Some even remind me of real life in the last fourteen months.
Buckle and grab some popcorn. Here are some of the best disaster movies of all time.
I’m great (2007)
A man-made plague that turns humans into bloodpiped mutants is plaguing the country. Everyone is dead, or at least almost everyone. Robert Neville (Will Smith) appears to be a lone survivor, but gives up hope to find others like him.
Before the plague hit, Neville worked as an acclaimed scientist. I’m great Neville is seen spending his time on the deserted streets of New York City searching for survivors and trying to find a scientific cure for the disease. In cat and mouse games, the infected inevitably hunt him down and hope that he makes some kind of fatal mistake.
This 2011 drama was heavily predicted for 2020. A resident of Minnesota returns to the US from Hong Kong on a business trip and dies two days later. At first, no one knows what caused his murder, but other cases like him begin to emerge around the world, revealing that he was carrying a deadly virus originating from China.
COVID-19 virus similarities are extraterrestrial. It originated from BAT, is aerial like COVID-19, and the Centers for Disease Control cannot go beyond it yet. All are told to wear masks, wash hands and stop touching their faces. Quarantine. People stay like this for a long time and Fingering Society resembles something of an apocalypse.
If you have not seen, all the world has been seen in the last fourteen months Fingering, This is a must see.
10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)
This is the sequel Cloverfield lane, Which received mixed reviews at its best. In-spite of this, 10 Cloverfield Lane Very much appreciated. After a car accident, Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) wakes up in a bunker with a strange strange doomsday couple. The men tell him that they are subject to a chemical attack and that they will die if they try to leave the bunker.
One of the men is highly controlled and makes Michelle feel insecure in her current situation. Despite the fact that it is unsafe to leave, she escapes and escapes into the air unprotected by the cot, and all the dangers await her. Or so she thinks. . . .
Independence day (1996)
We can’t write a piece about disaster films and No Add this classic! Two days before July 4, an alien enters the atmosphere of Mother Earth and deploys several small ships to hover over key locations around the world. The ships are fifteen miles in diameter each, and they are hostile.
When the aliens started attacking, America took matters into their own hands. Cities around the world are evacuated while the military uses both combative and technological advances to take down ships.
As around July 4, the aliens appear to be winning their attempt on Earth. Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith), a Marine F / A-18 pilot makes a great sacrifice for his country (and planet) and saves the day in an epic!
Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) is a climatologist trying to alert the world stage to an unprecedented climate event. Everyone, including the United Nations, essentially ignores it at first. As it becomes clear that Hall is indeed telling the truth, panic sets in.
A superstorm develops like the planet has never seen before. As the storm brings devastation to the United States, Hall embarks on a deadly mission to save his son. Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal) is trapped in New York City. Hall braves the Superstorm and attempts to travel to New York City on foot to save her son before the storm.
12 monkeys (1996)
Set in the future 2030, James Cole (Bruce Willis) finds himself in prison. He is recruited for a special time travel mission that takes him back to the 1990s. His mission is to collect as much data on a plague that is about to wipe out mankind and take him back to where he came from.
like Fingering The film reminds me of the tribulations the world has accomplished in the last fourteen months. There are some differences with this plague so it does not seem as predictive as Fingering, But it is very close!
