Ever since we have been born, the US government has regarded the claims of UFOs and aliens as baseless allegations leveled by Luni wearing a tinfoil hat. However, throughout the years, more and more footage of unknown aircraft moving at unheard speed has been released. Therefore, a large number of people are taking this subject seriously.
A 2020 Ipsos poll showed that 57% of Americans believe there is intelligent life on other planets. Additionally, 45% believe that UFOs are real and have traveled to Earth from planetary planets. It is clear that those who consider UFOs to be genuine are no longer a minority.
Recently the Pentagon has started showing signs of taking the matter seriously. The Pentagon now refers to UFOs as “unknown aerial phenomena” or UAPs. It follows footage of a recently leaked UAP showing lights and flying in restricted airspace. The footage was taken by Navy personnel and has been confirmed to be authentic by the Pentagon.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, along with other agencies, is set to reveal an unclassified report on the UAP to Congress next month. Discussing whether UFOs are genuine with so much seriousness and clarity from the government has never been seen before.
December 2017 – First Statement on UAP
Over the past decade, the US government has gradually begun to adopt a different public stance on UFOs and foreign existence, shifting its perceived stance on UFOs from phony baloney to “they are real”.
On December 16, 2017 the new York Times Released a front-page article claiming that the Pentagon had been running an undercover UFO program for almost ten years. The expos also included two videos recorded by the Navy in which unknown aircraft were detected. The video also revealed that the Pentagon had officially started using the term UAP.
This article aroused nationwide interest in the possibility that the government was hiding more supernatural information.
Official statement in 2020
In July 2020, Senator Marco Rubio, former executive chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence, referring to the UAP footage, said: “We don’t know what it is, and it’s not ours.” Although this statement was brief, it clarified that the government was not involved in the said UAP.
In December, former CIA director John brennan Made a curvingly detailed statement, which did not reveal much, claiming: “Some of the events we are going to see are still unclear and in fact, some sort of event that we might be The result of what they don’t do is’ not yet understood and may involve some type of activity that some might say is a different form of life. This worrisome comment suggests little possibility of supernatural evidence. It may be revealed.
Last summer, Deputy Secretary of Defense, David Norquist, formally announced the existence of the UAP task force.
In December, the 2021 Intelligence Authorization Act was passed which detailed that the government had 180 days to collect and analyze data from multiple agencies. The official report is to be submitted in June 2021.
Former director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe recently stated that the topic of UAP should be taken seriously. Ratcliffe said:
“When we talk about vision we are talking about objects that have been seen by naval or air force pilots, or picked up by satellite imagery, which obviously engage in those tasks Those that are difficult to explain, activities that are difficult to replicate, that we don’t have the technology for this, or that we are traveling at a speed that exceeds the sound barrier without a sonic boom. “
This April, documentary filmmaker Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbel aka, the man behind the Storm Area 51 movement, released leaked footage and photos from the UAP task force. The night vision video shows three flying objects rotating in the sky. Only one day later, the Department of Defense verified that the footage was genuine.
We look forward to the upcoming official report on UAP. Perhaps the government may be more transparent on previously unknown information.
