“We put Jacob Desvarieux in an artificial coma so that we could provide him with the attention he needed. In a statement made on July 18, the medical team declared, “This is a textbook medical protocol.”

Jacob had an easy, communicative smile, natural compassion, and extraordinary modesty, and he had an identifiable voice renowned around the world.

The artist began learning to play the guitar at the age of ten, after his mother, Cécile Desvarieux, offered him one.
