Amazon Prime Day 2021 may go on sale in June this year, according to a new report, citing company insiders.
In earlier times, the former pandemic, Amazon regularly held Prime Day in July, but this could be moved forward. Recoded Sources say the report says that Prime Day 2021 is likely to occur during the middle / end of June.
Last year Amazon delayed Prime Day until October 2020 as it prioritized regular deliveries for those who were unable to exit stores during the lockdown. Given the additional merchandise that Amazon did during that time, it is a fast prime delivery network that was limited to items, with items taking weeks to come.
There was also the question of the ethics of organizing a consumerism-fest when millions were losing their jobs and thousands were losing their lives. Amazon increased its revenue by 40 percent during an already extreme lockdown season, with CEO Jeff Bezos receiving scrutiny for a tremendous increase in his personal wealth with concerns over working conditions for Amazon employees in warehouses and on the street.
