Although the Enduro ANC (£ 149 / $ 149) appeared in the states in 2020, they have settled on the UK radar. The massive figure is down to the clear enduro of Qualcomm’s QCC5126 chip, which enables better power management and also helps with Andro’s advanced ANC design. Claire claims that the headphones can block up to 30dB of surrounding noise, and with its customizable settings via the new Clear + Connect app, ANC performance can be found in whatever environment you find yourself can be customized.
The design has a distinct taste of clear with a two-toned appearance and an outer ring on the earcups. The Endoro ANC is made from uro high-grade molded plastic ‘, with an ergonomically designed memory foam earpad and lightweight build to ensure long-term comfort. With volume and multi-function buttons with toggle switches for ANC / Ambient mode, you also have physical controls instead of touch controls.
Other features include Clear’s patented 40mm ironless driver, which we sampled in the Clare Flo II and found that it delivered an impressive sound free of distortion. AAC and aptX have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with adaptive codec support, the latter helping to maintain a strong connection in areas where there is interference. There is support for Voice Assistant and support for Google Fast Pair 2.0 with Android devices. The five-minute charge is good for the other two hours of playback, while there is also support for Hi-Res audio.
