Apple has officially announced that its WWDC (Worldwide Developer Conference) event will be closed on June 7.
Like the 2020 event, it will be an online event as a whole. Streaming incidents have become common for Apple in the past year and we launched the iPhone 12 and iPad Air 4 in a similar way.
When is WWDC 2021?
The main keynote for this event will be Monday, June 7 And then the developer session will run till June 11.
Unlike more product-focused Apple events, WWDC is very much about developers and is usually the place we first hear about upcoming updates for iPadOS, iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. It is also full of developer events, which will all be streamed as well
We have seen the hardware previously announced at WWDC, although it is far from a given. For example, the 2020 program had no new products and instead focused only on software.
“We love bringing our developers to WWDC every year to learn about our latest technologies and connect them with Apple engineers,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations and Enterprise and Education Marketing. “We’re working to make WWDC21 our biggest and best, and are excited to offer Apple developers new devices as they build apps that change the way we live, work and play . “
What can we see in WWDC 2021?
WWDC is the event where Apple usually reveals the next slate of software upgrades for its vast swats of products. We expect WWDC 2021 to showcase the next version of iOS and iPadOS like iOS 15, as well as a follow-up to MacOS Big Sur.
