OnePlus Nord CE 5G is about to launch today. The ‘CE’ stands for ‘Core Edition’, and the Chinese company is aiming to keep the key elements that have made the OnePlus Nord so attractive, while making it an even more competitively priced one.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be launched Streamed here on YouTube, so one can see that the company reveals the complete specifications and its price. If you go there now, you’ll see a countdown timer, but the event is due to begin at 3pm BST, or 10am ET/7am PT for tuners from the US.

What do we expect to see from the OnePlus Nord CE 5G launch?
Normally before a phone launch, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect thanks to the steady stream of leaks and rumors leading up to release day. But OnePlus has certainly helped by revealing a lot of information ahead of time.
It includes a clear look at what the OnePlus Nord CE 5G looks like, and a promotional page (now replaced with Live Stream) which promised a “stupidly thin” 7.9mm thick design and a triple-camera array led by a 64-megapixel sensor. And, as the name suggests, it will definitely be compatible with 5G networks.
Other non-OnePlus approved leaks have suggested that the phone will pack the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor that recently powered Samsung’s spectacular mid-range Galaxy A52 5G.
But the important message that OnePlus has conveyed is that the ‘Core Edition’ is meant to keep the core features of the original OnePlus Nord while reducing the price of entry. Priced at a very reasonable £379 when the OnePlus Nord launched last year, we may have a new entry to our list of the best mid-range phones by the end of the day.
