Wow, what a month – it should definitely be a festive time as spring has arrived and the west of England has secured almost £ 19m equity investment in the last few weeks. We have seen companies from pharmaceuticals to radio technology, and among many more, publicly announce their new funding, and read on to find out more.

This month we welcomed around 70 community members to our virtual event space for the first quarterly investment briefing of 2021. This event is an opportunity for investors to network, share and learn and the focus of our event was ‘Angel Investment’. We heard about the Michaelmore MAINstream angel group, and learned about the Envestors perspective on investing. To expand our perspective internationally, we also welcomed the JPIN Venture Catalists, who give us little information about how they have made themselves the third most active incubator globally.
