LG has announced that its Luxury Objet Collection will launch internationally in the near future, making it in direct competition with Samsung’s Bespoke range.
The collection includes colored objet fridges and freezers that are available in a selection of finishes including green, silver and matte black stainless steel and mint, pink, beige and silver glass. You can also mix and match colors to find your favorite color combination and fit the existing decor in your kitchen.
The fridge and freezer are made from luxury materials and take advantage of LG’s LINEARC cooling refrigeration system to maintain an internal temperature of +0.5 ° C.
LG also plans to launch Objet InstaView refrigerators and Styler wardrobe management systems in the future.
The Objet Collection made its first appearance as a “Furniture Concept Appliances” at CES 2021 in January. The fridge and freezer are set to debut in China along with Asia and Europe soon.
“The launch of the LG Objet Collection in international markets marks the beginning of the era of personal devices”, LG’s Home Appliances and Air Solution Company President Lew J-Cheol said.
“LG’s stylish innovations help create a space for consumers that truly reflects their unique sensibilities, while offering a low design and various choices of materials and colors to choose from”.
LG has not yet confirmed how much the device will cost, but we suspect it will be cheaper.
LG is not the first company to launch high-end, customizable white goods. Samsung’s Bespoke range offers modular design in a wide range of colors, while the vibrant finish in Bertazzoni’s business range is inspired by luxury Italian sports cars.
So, how do these companies differentiate their devices?
We contacted Dan Harvie, Head of Home Appliances, Vice President, Samsung UK, to ask what makes the Bespoke range different from its competitors.
Harvie stated, “The Bespoke refrigerator range offers a variety of unique modular combinations to choose from and comes in over 20 original colors and seven finishes worldwide, while Samsung’s trademark large capacity, convenience and powerful cooling Also provides performance. ”
“Bespoke, however, is much more than just a refrigerator or freezer. Our recently announced Bespoke Kitchen Package is Samsung’s first global expansion of additional Bespoke products beyond refrigeration, bringing the philosophy of customized and personalized appliances throughout the kitchen Starting with the European and US markets, we are bringing our Bespoke refrigerator range to our UK customers in June.
He said the firm also plans to expand the line to include smaller devices.
“Moving the Bespoke range further, we will expand the portfolio this year by launching an industry-leading ecosystem of purposeful lifestyle devices, such as the Bespoke Jet Stick Vacuum Cleaner,” he said.
“With homes doubling as offices, gyms and classrooms, these new Bespoke home appliances meet the day-to-day needs by providing greater flexibility, automation and hygiene. Our commitment to expanding the Bespoke line-up Through, we are offering unique comprehensive lifestyle solutions that empower consumers to make home life more personal and flexible.

When it comes to their kitchen people are demanding more, more functionality than style. Built-in devices, hidden behind cupboard doors, give style but they often compromise functionality and size, and make no statement. LG’s Objet range, along with the Samsung Bespoke and Bertazzoni range, provide you with complete equipment with the option to provide real details.
