Samsung has announced a new trio of its smart computer monitors, which it claims will meet the needs of streamers, castors, learners, workers and all other media and productivity functions.
New versions of the M-series Smart Monitor display are available in a range of sizes from 43-inch to 24-inch and come in 4K and HD configurations. They also come with support from voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Alexa.
Samsung says that, whether you want to steam from Netflix and Prime Video or cast from AirPlay 2, Samsung DX or PC or mobile devices from mobile devices via tap view mirroring, the screen is full of entertainment. There are all opportunities. A universal guide will suggest your paid subscription as well as free-to-air live and on-demand TV.
If you’re rocking recent Samsung phones with DX compatibility, you’ll be able to take advantage of the full desktop experience from monitors, which are also Microsoft 365-compatible. They’ve got embedded Wi-Fi, meaning you won’t need a PC to view and edit documents in the cloud. Elsewhere, for this expansion of first generation products, Samsung will also include remote access PC features on the screen from next month.
The line up here is long and short, including USB-C, USB-A port as well as Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.

We have asked Samsung to confirm pricing and availability which was absent from today’s media release.
We have already refurbished the 32-inch Samsung M7 Smart Monitor model, previously the top device in the line-up. At £ 400 this is not a very cheap purchase, but can tick both boxes for those who want a smart TV and a versatile monitor, but don’t want to buy both. We are excited to join hands on new additions to this category. They are unlikely to feature in the best monitor round up and are certainly not the best TV option, but they are versatile enough to get a solid audience.
Our reviewer gave it 4.5 / 5 stars. He wrote: “The Smart Monitor M7 is not outstanding in any one area. However, by providing solid performance across the board, as well as the added benefits of Samsung’s Smart TV functionality, it would earn a place as one of the best choices for people living and working from home in small or shared housing. is. It is also a great option for students, although it may cost a little more. “
