Foldable phones have two major barriers to entry between those that meet traditional form factors. They will cost you more money and according to the assumptions, it will not be sustainable.
However, Samsung is working towards alleviating those concerns as the expensive and fragile Galaxy Fold came first, then abandoned, then returned a few days ago. Now the company wants to remove durable concerns from the table with Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 Sammobile Report good.
Sources say that it will be the first Galaxy foldable to carry an IP rating for water and dust resistance. The report states that the Ingrade Protection Rating offered by the Galaxy S21 range may not be a high-end IP68 certification, but whatever it is right now, it will improve on big fat.
For example, the IP67 ratings we see from most high-grade phones can completely wet the phone without worrying users. If you are so inclined that you can swim for 30 minutes even in 1 meter of water. Here we have a shortcoming on IP67 vs IP68.

Of course, this is not the case as Samsung cannot be bothered to add it which we have not yet seen waterproofing. It was one of the first companies to offer true water resistance on Galaxy phones. When you have been unchanged form factor for more than a decade, it becomes a big challenge to save the phone from water and dust while adding additional hinges.
If the report goes wrong, Samsung will hope to improve the perception of its foldable phone, which has not recovered to a great extent from the initial Galaxy fold recall in 2018. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 had fixed all the issues and there is no stability with that handset.
The next question will be whether Samsung can bring the prices down significantly to ensure that they are slightly higher in line with the price of the current flagship phone. According to recent rumors, we can see the phone in late summer.
