According to a new report, the eagerly awaited Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 will again let users choose between Intel and AMD-based processors.

Winfuture Reports The next-gen Surface Laptop 4 will offer an 11th-gen Intel CPU, named Core i5-1145G7 and Core i7-1185G7, supported by Iris Plus Graphics 950.

The site has also claimed that it is a Ryzen 4000 series processor including Ryzen 5-4680U oder Ryzen 7 4980U CPU chips. According to the report those machines will have Radeon Graphics.

In 2019, Microsoft launched its first AMD Surface device, the 15-inch variant of the Surface Laptop 3, with the Ryzen 7 CPU. It seems that the next generation Surface laptop for Microsoft wants to maintain it around 4.

The WinFuture report states that the new version will once again be available in 13.5-inch and 15-inch configurations. According to sources, the display will have an aspect ratio of 3: 2, while the 13.5-inch version will offer 2256 x 1504 as per the published device, while the 15-inch version will provide 2496 x 1664 resolution.

According to that sheet, the top spec will be a maximum of 32GB of RAM, while a 1TB hard drive on a high-end configuration. The sheet also has a 6,513 mAh battery, replaced by a USB-C charger.

The 2019 Surface Laptop 3 for the MacBook Air is Microsoft’s answer, geared largely to students. It had a 10th-Gen Intel Core CPU with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD.

We praised the classy, ultra-portable design, outstanding performance, “stunning” performance and superb keyboard. We have given it a 4.5 star rating with only the Mardan battery and the lack of Thunderbolt 3 preventing a perfect score.

Our reviewer Ryan Jones wrote: “It is almost perfect to sit side by side with the very best options like the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, Surface Laptop 3 13 – but it also has some issues. For example, the battery Life is not the best, while the lack of Thunderbolt 3 support is clearly absurd.

“Despite its shortcomings, it is very difficult to find a better ultrabook at this price; It is an ideal choice for students and office personnel who are after a light machine for everyday tasks. “

We are not sure when the device will launch, but, on this evidence, it seems that the Surface Laptop 4 will be a major upgrade.
