Foldable phones are providing the largest smartphone form factor shake-up in more than a decade, even though sales have so far not reflected a large lift.
However, one of the main things that make the foldable phone so exciting has not yet been set. The likes of Samsung, Huawei and Motorola have put all their best legs forward with exceptionally different designs.
Enter TCL to make TV cheaper than a mobile phone, with another foldable phone concept, it is called Fold n Roll. The device offers three possible display configurations, taking it from a 6.86-inch pocketable smartphone, a larger 8.85-inch tablet or a full 10-inch tablet depending on the situation.

The technology is based on the ‘DragonHing’ design that has been introduced in other foldable concepts, but also includes an expandable display that looks like it will mechanically slide out for the largest display configuration.
As we see that many of these are foldable or rollable concepts, it does not appear that the device is in any way ready for imminent release, although the company is planning to launch some kind of foldable phone ahead of the year. .
The last few weeks have received a slight setback for the flexible display format, which has led to LG’s decision to leave the smartphone market and cancel its promising LG rollable phone concept.
Its rollable elements are likely to be picked up by other smartphone makers, but it would be great for LG to take a look at it, given how impressive its rollable OLED TV sets are.
Today’s reveal comes with three TCL 20 Series mid-range smartphones with 5G and triple lens cameras.
