Disney has extended the theatrical Black Widow release date until Friday June 9, but there is good news for Marvel fans who don’t watch from home – it will launch simultaneously on Disney Plus.
The standalone Scarlett Johansson flick, which is the first of the MCU’s Phase Four, will be available through the Disney series Premier Access. The company says availability will be for most markets covered by Disney Plus, so the UK should be included.
Viewers will have to pay an additional fee through the streaming service, which is set at £ 19.99 or $ 29.99 for other films such as the live action original film. Disney is no longer disclosing the price, just additional fees will apply. Weirdly, the tweet announcing the new release date features a black widow in all white.
The film is the first MCU film to take Avengers: Endgame Phase Three to an epic conclusion and was scheduled to hit theaters on May 7.

Along with making life easier for people living away from theaters, the new release date will give many more people a chance to see it on the big screen. As the UK and beyond have been eased into lockdown, the June innings may make people feel more secure about moving to their nearest multiplex.
As before, we can probably see a lot of complaints about the price tag, which does not take into account how many people are able to see for twenty quid, nor the lack of range that you actually How many times can you watch Flick as long as you have Disney Plus. If you have a compatible device, you can watch in 4K as well. Also, unless you pay £ 800 for a cinema snack for the family.
